What makes VANZEIT ® products so special?

We think differently.

Just one click away, you'll find the same old offerings, often with little practical function and even less understanding from the sellers.

Why? They are neither campers nor manufacturers. The copy is cheap, and you'll end up buying it twice...

You've arrived at the source.

1. New Product Ideas

A missing coat hook in our first California led to my invention of the well-known hooks for the pop-up roof, our ABHÄNG.

Why drill into the Bus? Our EINFACH was born out of my lack of understanding for this and the limited headroom under the overhead lockers on the market.

Every idea matures between our own ears, from actual need and missing solutions.

2. Thoughtful Product Design

First sketches lead to prototypes made of paper and cardboard.

When I am convinced, I design based on the already concrete measurements in CAD.

Using 3D printing, the sewing machine, or our workshop, the design is then being build and tested.

In the final touch, I streamline the design by eliminating unnecessary parts.

3. Tested in everyday camping

Nicole and I take new accessories directly on tour with our bumblebee (aka T6 California Beach).

If a contour is not perfect, or a functionality is not being used at all during camping?

Then it is adjusted and tested again. And if necessary, again...

Only what convinces us during in a season and proves its value is getting produced.

4. Locally manufactured in Northern Germany

We have found our production partners within a few kilometers.

This guarantees short distances and quick, personal agreements with a handshake.

Small series production ensures quick adjustments, even with your suggestions.

5. Certainly More Freedom

Focusing on the essentials gives you more space.

Less ballast means less fuel consumption. You go further.

Simple designs integrate timelessly into your individual setup.

Organization with a system relaxes. Stuffing was yesterday, today you can safely stow your equipment - and find it again tomorrow.

Have a great vacation and a wonderful VANZEIT ®!

Imagine that:

Breakfast first thing in the morning.
All tidy and without any toing and froing.
Set the table.
Lift the cover of the kitchen unit.
Make coffee or tea on the open flame.
Next to it, slice the rolls on the practical PIT chopping board.

The cutting board that fits and takes up no space.

The original BUSSTOFF cutting board fits perfectly on the cross of the gas cooker in the VW California T5 Comfortline, VW T6 and T6.1 Ocean and VW California Coast.
For the Mercedes Marco Polo, you will also find the perfectly fitting version in the selection.
Under the glass cover, which can still be closed easily and seamlessly, the chopping board is always ready to hand.

Also fits perfectly under the glass top. It still closes seamlessly.

The all-round juice groove also lets you prepare juicy meat or fresh salad.
Water and juice remain on the chopping board.

Whether for cutting bread or rolls, for preparing lunch ... the robust board leaves the second flame free, as does the sink. Practical!
So you can relax and prepare your food while it's already roasting next door.
The table remains free for a shared meal, the fridge remains accessible.

PIT and JOLI ... a perfect pair

Sometimes it is simply practical to use the cooking area directly at the bench for cooking and to have a shelf next to it.
PIT gets JOLI at its side: as a chopping board for the right-hand hob, next to the sink. For example, you can simply slide freshly cut vegetables into a bowl in the sink - practical!
JOLI also fits perfectly and complements another shelf or breadboard, or ... and doesn't take up any valuable storage space itself.

First chopping board to hang up: Drying made easy.

Thoughtful: The original board comes with a loop for hanging. Conveniently transport it back from washing up and simply hang it in the sun to dry.
It won't slip back into the water at the sink at the wrong moment with the fresh dishes, nor does it need a flat surface to dry, nor does it have to steam out wet under the glass plate.

Board PIT wears loop - the first to hang.

Nice wood in the hut!

The cutting board measures about 18 x 315 x 260 mm (H x W x D) and weighs about 1 kg.
This makes it so handy that it does not weigh much even when used on a camping table.
The PIT board is made of FSC-certified beech wood, finely sanded and oiled for you with linseed oil.
The fine carpentry will accompany you without warping. Guaranteed!

So that it stays beautiful:

If the diameter of pans and pots is close to the cutting board, please take the cutting board off the cooker.
To clean it, simply wipe it off or clean it briefly under running water.
Please do not put it in the dishwasher - PIT might take offence ;)

As always: Made in Schleswig-Holstein, by campers for campers, for your home in the van.
