Doing the Same Thing Twice Daily While Camping for Two?
You know it.
The constant back and forth construction ... endlessly annoying.
Building the bed in the evening, then hardly any space to get in or out.
In the morning, dismantling the bed first to start breakfast.
Following the bed conversion in the pop-up roof to be able to leave mattresses and sleeping bags up there, came the custom-interior-build in the VW bus.
The Goals
- Easily removable at any time
- Everything - clothing, kitchen, shoes, water, camping equipment - always accessible
- Comfortably lounging together for two, occasionally even three, when stationary
- Two sleeping places downstairs, yet comfortable entry and exit with built bed
- Fixed space for a dry separating toilet or composting toilet, optionally a shower
- The kitchenette should also be usable outdoors, below the rear hatch or on the sliding door, possibly freestanding
All of these could be realized in a short (!) wheelbase. The conversion base weighs only about 30 kg.

You can hang the VANZEIT ® drink holder THIRSTY on the rail of the kitchenette in the VW California - T5, T6, and T6.1 - easily. This way, the kids have their drinks within easy reach at the back.
In the VW California Beach and Multivan, you simply hang it in the multipurpose rail in the panel on the driver's side.
You can find the holder for cups, glasses, or even a liter bottle right here in the shop.
