We have something against thieves!
The NIXDA pedal lock is anchored in the driver's footwell of your VW T5 (Facelift / T5.2!), T6 or T6.1 above the pedals.
This way, all three (or two) - accelerator, clutch and brake pedals - are reliably blocked, thus preventing your bus from driving away, disengaging the clutch and pushing off.
Only when we are convinced of a product does it end up on the market for sale to customers, and our experience flows into progressive product development.
NIXDA is now the easiest-to-use pedal lock on the market and has already delighted many male and female van drivers.
The lock is made entirely of stainless steel and can be locked with a padlock.
NIXDA weighs only about 2.4 kg and can easily be stowed flat between the driver and passenger seat.
Inserting it is child's play. The pedal cuff is simply placed over the pedals and locked with a flick of the wrist, then locked.
This makes it easy to use in everyday life as well as on holiday, and it is quickly attached and detached again - completely fumble-free.
With or without a floor mat, even with thicker rubber mats, the lock sits securely on the pedals.
We use the pedal lock ourselves every working day in our van on the way to work, to the shops ... and on holiday anyway :)
There are two stickers for the inside of the windows on the driver and passenger side.
If you place them there, you are already showing the anti-theft device clearly and potentially prevent a break-in into your VW bus.
A lock is not included in the delivery. We recommend these, for example:
- ABUS 98Ti/70,
- an ISEO block lock, keyed alike with your house or flat door key, it saves an extra key on the collar. Alternatively, a high-security cylinder can be fitted,
- ABUS Diskus lock 26/70 (ideal for left-handers).
The lock bolt should have a maximum diameter of 12 mm and be able to hold at least 9 mm, then your chosen lock will fit. We do recommend a 12 mm diameter for optimum fit!
The pedal lock NIXDA comes with only two variants suitable for your VW Multivan / California or Transporter:
Variant UNI fits 5.2 manual gearbox + DSG, T6 manual gearbox + DSG, T6.1 DSG only and in
Variant 6.1S suitable for T6.1 with manual gearbox.

Pedal lock, pedal shackle? What is the difference?
There is none. Pedal lock and pedal shackle are synonyms. Both describe mechanical immobilisers that lock the pedals in the driver's footwell of the vehicle.
