We've ditched the Multiflexboard.

Instead, there's a camping box for standardized stacking containers.

The boxes, also known as "Euroboxes," each with a lid, can hold up to 40 kg. They stack securely together, and the contents are accessible from the top at any time.

In the combination of a camping box in the rear and Euroboxes inside, a self-supporting structure is created at the height of the sleeping and seating bench. With cushions for each box or a topper (we use self-inflating air mattresses in the pop-top roof AND below), a continuous sleeping surface is created.

Bonus: With a rear tent, you can extend the sleeping area under the tailgate and gaze at the stars through the rear window. In the VW Bus, there is a third more living space.

Where to put shoes in the VW Bus and California?

It's raining outside exactly at night when you thought the dirty shoes would stay dry under the Bulli.

At night, the shoes fall from the step as the first thing into the puddle when opening the sliding door.

Put the boots in the step shelf and voila ... everything's fine.

The shelf fits on the left sliding door, on the right, front, and back, under the three-seater as well as under the two-seater sleeping bench in the VW California, Mercedes Marco Polo, and others.

How about a wine rack?

As a shoe rack, it's perfect from small children's shoes to full-sized hiking boots.

When expanded upward to the VANRAIL profile for the roof, PASSTIMMER, it provides secure support for wine, cups, and an espresso machine as a van aisle while also providing additional privacy.

Thanks to continuously open shelves and sides, the ventilation channels remain clear, and any mess falls through the bottom.

Is there a California shelf made of wood?

Where can I get a roof cabinet that doesn't require drilling into the VW California?
