Steamed? Yes.
That means that every single stick has already been in a hot steam bath.
Afterwards it was allowed to dry slowly again.
Only straight sticks are then selected and sold.
Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of discovering condensation in the camper in the morning knows why this pre-treatment is so important.
However, wood remains a natural product and a little warping is normal under stress and everyday use.
